Havent been able to get this app to work on my home network for more than a few minutes before it stops playing anything. Both the hopper and the iPhone are both connected to the same network (the hopper is hardwired through a switch to my router and my iPhone is on my home wifi network powered the same router, a Apple AirPort Extreme). Very frustrated with this app.

After update app constantly stopped. Deleted and downloaded again and now it won’t load on my iPod Touch.

I like this app but when I am watching live tv it crashes constantly.

CONSTANTLY CRASHES!!! I hate this piece of crap app. Half the time I just find my recorded shows online or on their channels apps because this piece of crap crashes or wont connect to my receiver. If I could rate under a star I would.

For the first year I had my iPhone 6 the app worked most of the time. On occasion it would crash and close and I was unable to watch anything else without restarting my phone. Since the latest iPhone software update, it does not work. I cannot watch more than 10 to 15 minutes of a show without it crashing and that is if I can watch anything at all. Once it crashes it is inconsistent. Sometimes it will allow me to resume where it crashed. Sometimes it will not. Sometimes it wont let me choose that show again. Sometimes it will not even show that the show/movie is available. The shows/movies available on the app are also inconsistent with what is available on the tv. One of the reasons I chose Dish was to use the app. If the app doesnt work at all and there seems to be nowhere to discuss resolution for the issues, I may consider moving to Direct TV instead. Or just canceling it altogether and purchasing the channels I want ala carte with a roku or firestick. This is a huge disappointment.

Luv taking my shows with me

Experience a lot of lag time and I have very good internet speed. Tried the "sling box" thingy but it blows. This is recommended but needs some work.

This app has never worked on my new iPhone 6 Plus. Tech support at dish is blaming my phone. The thing is every other app works on my phone. Wish it worked. Bad app.

Crashes frequently now & would be nice if there was a remote I could use on my iphone for this on my ipad.

I love this app I can watch all my favorite shows on the road or on vacation and I can also start watching a show on the road and then pick up where I left off at home way to go Dish

I travel a lot and spend lots of time in airports. I love that I can watch my recorded shows from home. Great app......

The 3 star review is basically established on the Apps inconsistencies. At times I use it and Im feeling 5 Stars and a pot of gold, but there are times (and its not "WiFi" related so Simmer Donna) Im attempting to watch a show and its like trying to look at porn on my parents Tandy 1000 and they are going to be home any minute. Basically at times I like it, other times Im deeply frustrated with how slow it is. Its not consistent is what Im getting at, so if DISH could eradicate the frustrating Tandy 1000 behavior they could get me to let go of the two stars Im holding in my pocket. I want it to be 5 Star worthy, who doesnt. Im just trying to be pragmatic.

This thing blows.

I originally gave 2 stars, must downgrade to a single star. This app and DishTV in general is horrible. The app is EXTREMELY user unfriendly. Were stuck with this trash cable/satellite service because of where we live.

Love that I can watch my shows on the go. Sometimes it does glitch- will repeat the last few seconds. Also have had problems with it loading. Would have sound but no picture. Not always but enough to be a nuisance!
